Ours is a lively and flourishing W.I. To please everyone, we try to present as varied and interesting Speakers Programme as possible, which includes some demonstrations. We have at least one Outing a year, a Summer Party (usually in a member's garden) and a Christmas Party. We also take part in competitions and events organised by our Federation or Group. These include skittles and tennis tournaments, quizzes, drama competitions and rambles.

Some members go on courses at Denman College, the W.I.'s residential college set in 17 acres of beautiful grounds in Oxfordshire. The College runs hundreds of excellent courses throughout the year to suit all tastes.

We find our Institute meetings stimulating and enjoyable, where it is fun to meet old friends and make new ones. The W.I. is non-political and non-denominational. All ages are welcome. If you are interested in further details, please 'phone our contact number.
